Privacy notice
We only ask for information that helps us answer you, arrange walks, care for your dog and keep accurate business records.
Who is responsible for your information?
K-9 Buddy is responsible for information collected through this website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to k9buddy0123@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 24 hours.

- Messages you send through the contact form.
- Account and security information, including a protected password record, sign-in sessions, password-reset records and an audit trail of important changes.
Please tell an emergency contact before giving us their details.
Why we use it
We use account, dog and booking information to provide the service you request and to take steps before agreeing a booking. We use contact and care information to communicate with you and look after your dog safely.
We use limited records to keep the website secure, answer questions, resolve complaints and protect the legitimate interests of customers, dogs and the business. We keep payment and expense records where the law requires this for tax and accounting.
We do not sell personal information, use it for unrelated advertising, or make important decisions about people using automated profiling.
Who receives it?
Information is available only to people who need it to operate or maintain K-9 Buddy. Cloudflare provides website hosting, security and storage. Resend sends essential account and notification emails. Information may also be shared with a veterinary practice or emergency contact where this is reasonably necessary for a dog's welfare, and with an accountant, HMRC, insurer, legal adviser or public authority where required.
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, their data-protection terms and legally required safeguards apply.
How long we keep it
We keep active account and dog-care information while it is needed to provide the service. When an account is closed, we review its information and remove details that are no longer needed. Booking, payment and expense records may be kept for at least five years after the relevant Self Assessment deadline, or longer if HMRC is checking a return. Messages and security records are kept only for as long as they are useful for responding, preventing misuse or resolving a problem.
Cookies
The site uses an essential sign-in cookie so customer and administrator areas work securely. It is not used for advertising. The site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
Your choices and rights
You can update much of your information in your account. You can also ask us for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete information we no longer need, restrict how it is used, or object to some uses. Some records may still need to be retained for legal, safety or dispute reasons.
Send a request to k9buddy0123@gmail.com. If you remain concerned, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
